  - Sydney was standing in for Toreador, tries to get info about Pentex.
  - Debate on what to do in Cary, choices made.
  - Discuss methods to teach our childer, youth on proper behavior.

• I talk to Benedicte about Sydney and Pentex

  - Has no deal with the wolves about destroying Pentex
  - His words carry precedence, since he has more status.

• Meet with Lola Cortez

  - Talk about status for Tremere, Ming

• Speak with Josh Davidson about Ian and his actions.

  - Investigate further, strip temporary status from Ian.
  - Note that he's stated he plans to shoot Prince in head.
  - Sending msg to Kristobal telling him to police his own.

• Incidents with Sabbat, Anarchs, bombs.

  - For once I was where I needed to be, away from the action.
  - Talked to Ted, helped coordinate others.
  - Explosion at former Manse. Armand says he will cover up.

• All night stuff:

  - Recording boons from various persons.
  - Questions about status of others.

Downtime Plans

Moving into Cary, through Bureaucracy and High Society. Pushing my contacts between the Raleigh Fire Departments and power stations and the Cary departments. The cities are so close together, there's bound to be some overlap and cooperative efforts between the fire departments, so I'm bridging the gap between them. I'm gonna see if I can have them choose someone to help merge the two, someone who is under my thumb from Raleigh.

High Society, I'll continue to make friends, drop names. See if I see Alexi again and note what crowds he travels in. Don't try to ride on his coattails or interfere in his business, and I'll watch for the same from him. See about my new friends from last time, working on blood bonding, getting them to funnel some money my way. Have them looking at some property. A secondary house in Cary would be a nice refuge.

And hey, other than letting my influences build themselves, I'll have my contacts in the fire department watch and see who covers up the manse burning down. I could have put fire inspectors on the case, but Armand was adamant about seeing it done. His mistake. He'll get no help from my lackeys, and his will be targeted for next time. If my guy sees someone else start to cover it up, have him start putting together evidence that says otherwise. Should be easy, as my angle is the truth. If the time is right, strike. That way we can hit him while he's overextending. Show this person(s) to be in question, possibly trying to cover up for big money spenders. But don't take a big chance. Don't want my guy to endanger his position over silly squabbling.

And if Armand doesn't cover it up, well then I'll just roast him in council.

Continue business as normal with Jake's. Let it pour more money into the coffers. Have the tech guy acquire a new IP address, using fake credentials, contacts to appear Norweigan. (through website, doesn't even require voice or email). Soon, we'll reroute the website through their to confuse trails of anyone tracking.

Speaking of computers. Monitor and translate stuff obtained from Benedikte and Jack's computers. Any communication of interest, please let me know. Recall, it's recording all keystrokes, so it may find things searched for, websites, and most importantly their emails. Benedikte's response to me was by courier, so no love there. But his lackey may have idle time, who knows?
